Hey guys, I haven’t blogged in a while and I just wanted to write something to help out my fellow musician friends, I hope these apps are helpful for you and your band!
SQUARE: have you ever been asked: do accept credit cards? And you have to say no and you lose the chance to sell your merchandise? Not anymore with Square. This app allows you to accept credit card payments, you just have to download it, apply, and ask for the square (the card reader) and they give/ship it to you for FREE!
KAYAK: this one is for those who are constantly traveling outside of the country or just want to take planes to other states, on this app you can find really cheap airplane tickets, whether it’s for you or you just want to help out whoever is buying them for you.
MAP QUEST: I recently just downloaded this one and its way better than apps, it’s simply a GPS, it has that automatic voice that guides you instead of you having to be looking at your phone. Through it you can also find hotels, restaurants, gas stations, etc.
PAYPAL: if you have online stores such as bigcartel or bandcamp, this is the best way to keep up with whoever is buying stuff from your store and transferring these funds to your bank account
PAGES: this facebook’s latest app, it’s just an easier way to manage your band’s page and keep up with your fans.
